Taking root in 1961, the original Potter and Leonard, Inc., insurance agency, combined over the years with several other small local agencies to form what is now PLC Insurance LLC. And even though we have become one of the larger agencies in North King and Snohomish County, we have not forgotten our roots. We are still locally owned and there are no small fish in our pond.
Our team of insurance professionals work together to provide complete insurance services for local business and industry, as well as personal insurance for individuals and families. While we work hard to develop strong working relationships with our underwriters, they understand that we are tough negotiators and demand excellence in product and service for our clients.

PLC Insurance LLC and Fireman’s Fund Insurance Company teamed up to donate $13,636 to Snohomish County Fire District #1 to help fund training and expenses for Topper, the districts arson dog.
“Topper is a critical member of the Snohomish Fire community,” said Mike Rucker with PLC Insurance. “We are lucky to have him working within our communities and are proud to support him with this grant.’
The grant package is part of a nationwide philanthropic program funded by Fireman’s Fund Insurance Company, through their independent agents and brokers. The program is designed to provide needed equipment, training and educational tools to local fire departments.
This is the second grant PLC Insurance has been able to provide to local fire departments. Previously a check for $6,237 was donated to the Lynnwood Fire Department to purchase a much needed “stair chair” that enables fire fighters to better transport injured or otherwise incapacitated people up or down stairs.
