Taking root in 1961, the original Potter and Leonard, Inc., insurance agency, combined over the years with several other small local agencies to form what is now PLC Insurance LLC. And even though we have become one of the larger agencies in North King and Snohomish County, we have not forgotten our roots. We are still locally owned and there are no small fish in our pond.
Our team of insurance professionals work together to provide complete insurance services for local business and industry, as well as personal insurance for individuals and families. While we work hard to develop strong working relationships with our underwriters, they understand that we are tough negotiators and demand excellence in product and service for our clients.
Our agents average in excess of 20 years experience in the industry and offer an understanding and thoroughness in assessing risk exposures and innovative solutions.

PLC Insurance, LLC is proud to introduce its two newest producers; Scott Roberts and Sarah McLean.
Scott has worked for PLC Insurance for over five years in a number of different capacities. While attending college at the University of Washington to obtain a degree in Global Studies, Scott worked in telemarketing and supporting our sales staff. Obtaining his license as an insurance agent in 2004, Scott took on the role of Personal Lines Producer, helping to bring in new clients and assisting our current customers to make sure their existing coverage kept pace with their changing needs. In 2008 Scott moved into his new role as an Account Executive in Commercial Insurance. With the extensive training he has received, Scott can now help you with both your Business and Personal Insurance needs.
While Sarah is new to her role as a full-time producer, she is not new to the insurance business. Having worked at PLC Insurance for the past 8 years as a Commercial Insurance Account Manager and part time producer she comes with many years of education and industry experience. After obtaining her insurance agents license in 1998, she quickly obtained the Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC) designation, which originally required over 100 hours of intense insurance education with the ongoing requirement of annual continuing education updates. While working full time for the company, Sarah was also in the process of obtaining her Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management from the University of Washington, which she completed in 2003. In addition, Sarah received top of her class honors after completing Safeco’s Agent School, an intense study of policy forms and coverage.
Scott and Sarah are knowledgeable and experienced producers who we are happy to have as a part of the PLC family.
