The State of Washington has a higher instance of Lymphoma (a blood cancer) than any other State in in the union.  No one knows why.

With a mission statement to eradicate lymphoma and serve those touched by this disease, the Lymphoma Research Foundation (LRF) provides funding for research and related services such as lymphoma support networks, patient aid grants, in-person workshops and educational forums.    

The primary funding resource for the LRF is a 5K Lymphomathon walk.  Our Seattle LRF Chapter is sponsoring this year’s walk at the Myrtle Edwards Park in Seattle, on Sunday, July 10, 2011.
